Hal Kinnaman is a ukulele and slack key guitar teacher. Located in Kauai Hawaii he has been teaching, playing and composing music for over 40 years and has taught one-on-one private lessons as well as classrooms of students at the university level.
During his 20 plus years in the islands he learned "slack key" from legendary masters such as Ray Kane, Raymond Leiahola Patterson and Kenny Rapozo.
Hal has developed a style of teaching using tablature that allows students to quickly learn and continue to improve on their own. Even if you are visiting Kauai and have time for only a lesson or two, you can learn techniques and take tablature books and CDs home with you which will allow you to learn on your own.
